The Change Manager must prepare and plan for handover. This would involve identifying tasks and actions necessary for a
smooth transition of the Change Management to the Client or other Service Provider. The planning should include
identification of handover items, timescales for handover, and handover of the responsibility. The key resources to be
involved in handover activity, along with roles and responsibility should also be identified.
Change Management handover activities must be conducted as planned. As the service engagement closes, there could be
changes which were planned when Capgemini was responsible for Change Management but were not implemented. Such outstanding
changes should to be handed over appropriately.
Capgemini must archive the documents, reports and data pertaining to Change Management as per standard archival process.
The Engagement Manager must obtain Client Sign-off on the Change handover activities for the formal closure of Change
Management process.
